About Concord Youth Counseling

Academics did not come easily for Mike as he went through the Concord Public Schools. As a result of these challenges, he realized that he wanted to help students with various challenges as a career. Mike’s first job out of college was helping students in an alternative setting to study for their General Education Diploma examination. It was there that he realized he wanted to become a school counselor so he could help students and their families navigate the school experience. Forming a support system, particularly for a struggling student, is imperative. Mike is currently doing this work at his private practice in Concord. For sixteen years Mike has loved coaching middle school athletics, most notably, hockey, soccer, and tennis. He is a Boston sports enthusiast and enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
